MACHINE CONSTRUCTION:-

Compact Design
The powder circulating bend fitted to the feed frame keeps the powder spilling to an absolute minimum. This is noteworthy since the machine is capable of compressing approximately 50,400 tablet per hour.

Drive Configuration The turret is driven by a precise phosphorus-bronze worm Fitted to a bearing mounted worm shaft which is driven by A “V” belt and variable speed pulley mounted on the Motor shaft.

Cam Track Design The Machine incorporates the latest cam track design having smooth cam angles. Smooth cam angles improve punch Travel / which in turn / facilitate tablet ejection and reduce punch head wear extended through lubrication of the cam tracks.

Cleanability The tableting zone has been designed as per the stringent cGMP norms. The main features of the tableting zone include.

Maintenance Major controls and the one-shot lubrication system are easily accessed through the hinged front and rear panels. Since there are no moving parts in this area these are not interlocked, therefore adjustments can be carried out safely while the machine is in operation.

Lubrication All major lubrication points are served by the one-shot lubrication system. Oil cups are provided wherever continuous lubrication is required.

Overload and Pressure Release Effectively, the safety valve of the machine, this is fitted to the lower pressure roll. The overload pressure release should always be set to relieve the pressure with minimum effort consistent with the diameter and hardness of the tablets being made. Adjustments are easily made from the lower cabinet. Serious damage to both the machine and the punches can be prevented through proper use and maintenance of this system.

Motor Overload Any appreciable motor overload that may occur due to tight punches etc. is indicated on an ammeter fitted to the control panel. The average amperage in normal running (tableting) condition is to be noted. Any increase in this average should be immediately investigated.

FEATURES:-

29 & 35 STN. Press is specially designed to compress DS, Capsule & Oval shaped tablets of length 23 & 19 mm respectively. Round tablets of diameter 23 mm (25.4 mm on demand) can be compressed on 29 STN Press.
Force feeders are provided to regulate uniform flow of large volume of granules at high speed.
Standard feed frames are also supplied along with the machine. This facilitates in compressing certain products where force flow feeders are not suitable. It can also be used as an alternative arrangement in case of breakdown of force flow feeders.
For fluffy products where flashing takes place it can be set on the lower position of the die.
For sticky products, this can be set nearer to the top face of the die to avoid heavy ejection load and friction. It also helps in avoiding flying of upper punches due to vacuum.
Die life can be increased more then doubled by changing the position of compression.
Upper cam Tracks-Lowering and lifting are so designed to lift the upper punches evenly from both sides. This helps in smooth running of the machine and prevents jumping of upper punches at high speed.
Upper punches are covered with acrylic dust guards.
Turret with key slots essential for shaped tooling provided on 29, 35 & 37 STN press. (Optional on 45 & 47 Stn. Press.)
All major controls outside the compression area to meet GMP norms and easy to reach.
Electronic total output counter is provided on the control panel.
Anti vibration mounting provided, hence no foundation is required.
Top acrylic guards are interlocked to prevent the machine being operated when the guards are open for safety purpose.
